Purchased a Jetboil cooking system today (Terry already has one). I bought the Flash model in carbon (black) color. Terry says I won't be able to find it in the dark but I reminded him it will be light outside most of the day in the far North...he's had a rough day!
Tried it out for dinner using a Mountain House freeze dried spaghetti with meat sauce pack. The Jetboil boiled two cups in under two minutes...very impressive!
The Mountain House dinner was excellent. Those will be the go-to dinner and lunch packs for our big trip.
